Excellent show, Bob(s)!!! Lots of LOL moments !

Still, while the State Department is coordinating with the Hong Kong protesters; it’s hard not to see a connection between those activities and the Tank Man movie promotion. Not to say that RAP has something to do with that, just that the tail wind he must be feeling cannot be happening without some behind the scenes help from US.gov.

Also, I hate to be a stinker, but, as alluded in your discussion, there is a theory that the “tank-man” was actually urging the tanks back to continue to crush the protersters. This type of personality train would not be all that unusual in a dictatorship. There have, in fact also been reports based on leaked memos from wikileaks, that the amount of deaths at Tienamen Square were greatly exagerated. Again, not to say that it didn’t happen, only to suggest that the incidents could have been exploited by our color revolution department.

This was a funny and entertaining episode. I am glad I chose to listen to the whole thing. The guest brought out the best in Bob. It helps to understand Bob’s humor. If Bob ever needs a non-economist to replace Tom on Contra Krugman, maybe Robert Anthony Peters is an option.
