    I don’t know, but I was thinking that Darrow had meant that the kinetic energy contained in the rotating Earth would be converted instantly into heat. Like the way the disc of a disc braking system gets extremely hot if a fast vehicle is made to stop rapidly.

    I’m an agnostic listening to Bryan, and I think that’s a perfectly fine answer. Why would I expect every Christian on Earth to have examined every detail of their belief system. Nobody does this, least of all secularists, whose assumptions about the world are nearly all based on what their social media feed has told them about what some news organization says about what a scientific journal says that a man in a white coat told them their that their lab assistant says that a piece of scientific equipment recorded.
