Where do these unserious thinkers keep coming from?

If we have open borders, then we will lose freedom? Oh ok so which tyrant gets to take my freedom to decide who can cross which borders? And, newsflash, we do not have open borders. We have government managed borders – exactly like he wants. He just thinks he can manage the borders better than the current idiots in charge. Standard socialist stuff. I wish you would challenge your guests more when they say silly things.

    Question for the guest:
Are there any general observations you can make about the attitudes and characteristics of Latin Americans who decide to emigrate to the US? For example, Cuban immigrants are reputedly less sympathetic to Socialism, presumably because the ones who chose to leave Cuba for it’s enemy nation were unhappy with Cuban Socialism. Is there any dynamic like that to be aware with other Latin American demographics where there’s a disparity between the general population and the subpopulation of emigrants?
