Ep. 456 What Went Wrong with Oregon’s Drug Decriminalization?

Reason producer Zach Weissmueller joins Bob for a tough but informative discussion on why rolling back the drug war is more nuanced than what many libertarians might believe. Zach produced a documentary and just debated at the SoHo Forum on why Oregon’s drug decriminalization was overturned.

I think I can find something to nitpick!

Bob Said, “If it [decrim didn’t work there..”

…by what metric? Are you *accepting* the Coasian standard? What happened to the Rothbardian rights perspective.

In the praxeological view, decriminalization *always* works. It always ends the fraudulent labeling of a non-crime as a crime.
